Registering your player for the first time

Before you can register your player for one of the programs listed, you must add both yourself and your player as participants on this new Crossbar website.

  1. Click on the SIGNUP tab on the upper left of the website. Here, you will ADD YOURSELF as the contact and registering person, including your contact information and email address.
  2. You will ADD A NEW PARTICIPANT - this is where you will add your player(s) information.
  3. Add a NEW REGISTRATION (black button) - Select 24-25 Hockey to register your player(s) for the season within the Crossbar website.

At this point, your player(s) will appear under each opportunity to register for a program, so choose the correct player.


You can add additional contacts for your player - including additional parents and grandparents - by adding them under your player's details. This will allow them access to your player's schedule/calendar.

  1. Click on the ACCOUNT tab in the upper left of the website.
  2. Under PARTICIPANTS, click on the PROFILE tab under your player's name.
  3. On the right, you will see +ADD ACCOUNT. Click on this and add additional email addresses you would like to be notified of your player's calendars. They will receive an email to confirm their information and to create an account. Once these steps are complete, they will appear in your player's account.


*Once you have signed up, you will utilize the login option.

Registering for the Golf Tournament for the first time

Before you can register yourself for the golf tournament, you must add yourself as a participant on this new Crossbar website.

  1. Click on the SIGNUP tab on the upper left of the website. Here, you will add yourself as the contact and registering person, including your contact information and email address.
  2. You will then ADD YOURSELF AS A PARTICIPANT.
  3. Add a NEW REGISTRATION (black button) - Select GOLF TOURNAMENT to register yourself for the Golf Tournament.

*Once you have signed up, you will utilize the login option.

FAQs

I AM THE REGISTERING PARENT - HOW DO I ADD SPOUSES, STEP-PARENTS, AND GRANDPARENTS TO MY PLAYER'S REGISTRATION SO THEIR FAMILY CALENDAR HAS THEIR SCHEDULE?

  1. Log on (must be the registering parent) 
  2. Select ACCOUNT (upper left corner)
  3. Select PARTICIPANTS on the left-hand side 
  4. Select "View Details" next to your player's name 
  5. Add the top of this display is a Link "+ ADD ACCOUNT". Click on this link.
  6. Add the parent's email address and select ADD ACCOUNT
  7. If the parent already has an account, they will be added immediately.
  8. If the parent does not have an account, then a verification email will be sent to them. They must click on the link to verify their email and then create an account by supplying their name, selecting a password and supplying a phone number. The parent will be added once they have created their account.
  9. Parents associated with the child can check to see who has been added by following steps 1 thru 4 at any time.

HOW DO I MAKE SURE I RECEIVE TEAM/BOOSTER EMAILS?

  1. Make sure your profile settings are set to receive emails from Hopkins Hockey.
  2. If Hopkins Hockey has sent an email and you haven't received it, check your SPAM folder.
  3. If the email is not in your SPAM folder, log in to the email provider's website. The spam folder often doesn’t completely sync to other apps such as Apple Mail or Android email apps.
  4. If you have recently updated your email, you MUST follow the instructions in the verification email to verify the new email. You will NOT receive any emails until it is verified.
  5. Lastly, be sure that you have notifications@hopkinsroyalshockey.com and accounts@crossbar.org in your email contacts. Email providers generally do not send email to SPAM folders if coming from a known email contact.

WHERE DO I FIND MY REGISTRATION RECEIPT?

  1. Log on (must be the registering parent) 
  2. Select ACCOUNT (upper left corner) 
  3. Select PARTICIPANTS on the left hand side 
  4. Select "View Details" next to your player's name 
  5. Scroll down, then under Registration History, select "View Details" 
  6. The payments & dates are listed. *Note that payments are processed automatically on the dates listed, and it may take a couple of days before they appear on your credit card account.

HOW DO I GET THE MOBILE APP?

All registered Crossbar users will have access to the Crossbar mobile applications on both iOS and Android. You can find it in the Apple Store and Google Play.

HOW DO I RECEIVE MOBILE APP NOTIFICATIONS?

Follow the device-specific instructions below to ensure that notification settings are correct. Once completed, log out and go back into the Crossbar application even if you have not changed it. Contact Crossbar support if you still have not received notifications.

IPHONE:

  1. Open your phone's Settings application
  2. Select Notifications
  3. Select Crossbar
  4. Select Notifications
  5. Toggle 'Allow Notifications' to On
  6. Open the Crossbar mobile application.
  7. Click the Menu Icon
  8. Log out
  9. Log back in

ANDROID:

  1. Open your phone's Settings application
  2. Select Apps & Notifications
  3. Select Notifications
  4. Select See All
  5. Select Crossbar
  6. Make sure notifications are enabled
  7. Open the Crossbar mobile application
  8. Click the Menu Icon
  9. Log out
  10. Log back in


Confirm Delete
Click the delete icon again to confirm. Click escape to cancel.
